These can be found on page 492 of the student text and on the handout. -7l2 quiz Nov 27th -7l1 quiz November 28th   Math 7L1 and 7L2 -Quiz on adding fraction tomorrow.  In our notes below is a review and suggested questions to review from the text.

Math 7L -I was out this morning.  Students started section 5.1 from the text.  I will review this next class.   Science 7L2 -We started our next unit on mixtures and solutions.  We learned about des mélanges et des substance pures. -Students need to memorize the safety symbols in their textbook.     Science 8 -Our next project as part of the pilot science program is for student to work together in small groups to develop a job advertisement to hire a cell in an organ.   Students were given a handout that outlines the outcomes and requirements of the project.  Students need to have the research (along with references) for their organ for next class.   Students must demonstrate that they can work productively as a group, that they are knowledgeable about their organ and the system it belongs to, and that they can present their findings in a creative way.   This project will be evaluated 3 ways.  (Teacher, self and group).  Due date next day 1.

Science 7L1 and 7L2 -test.  Go over the study guide.   Math 7L1 and 7L2 -test was passed back -side on of fraction sheet   Science 8L -observations should be done. -continue working on chapter 3 questions   Science 8E1 and 8E2 -lab report was due today. -Continue to review chapter 3 questions

Math 7L1 -Notes below -Quiz on percent Friday -re-test passed back -Side 1 of worksheet is due Monday.  (time will be given in class)   Math 7L2 -Notes below -Quiz on percent Friday -re-test passed back to most students. -Side 1 of worksheet is due Monday.  (time will be given in class)   Science 7L1 -We went over the important parts of chapter 2 and 3 for the test.  Test will be Monday. -A study guide was handed out today.  Students should spend 15 minutes filling in information on the study guide.   Science 8L and 8E2 -We were in the lab today doing our yeast lab.  Students should have their observation complete for next class.  Next class they will be putting together their formal lab write up.  Students need to bring both papers to next class (proposal and observations).

Math 7L -students have the option to rewrite the module 3 test tomorrow in class.  The lunch review notes are posted below.  I have also uploaded a mini tutorial on modeling multiplying deciamals.   If students do not finish the re-write tomorrow due to the assemnly, they may continue on Tuesday.  I promise to mark them for the term one report card.  Multiple choise questions will not be on the re-write. -Students were given a worksheet on percentages.   This is not for homework.   Science 8 -proposals for lab is past due.  (8L will be doing this with the supply tomorrow as they did not have class yesterday or today) -study digestion and respiration notes   Science 7L -Lab report from owl disection is due (pink sheet) -field trip form is due Tuesday of next week.

Math 7L -no homework   Science 7L1 -Assignment for field trip is due next day 1.  This should be a good copy.   Science 8L -Study handout on systems   Science 8E1 -Finish questions on the digestive system and the respiratory system.   DUOTANGS of marked work should be back in the class so that I can review them while making the report cards up.  All parents should of seen and signed their child's marked work at several points during term one.
