Homework Oct 18th

Math 7L We worked on adding and subtracting decimals today.  Section 3.3 of the text.  Q 1 and 3 is for homework.  Notes posted  below.   Science 7E1 and 7E2 Endangered animal project due Oct 25th.  No more class time will be given.   Science 7L Endangered animal project due Oct 24th.  No more class time to work on project.  Students may come to see me during Student Enhancement for help translating their work.

Homework for Oct 15th

Please be avised that I am having difficulties with my smart board and as a result I am having trouble posting to the web.     Math 7L Assignment 3.2 due tomorrow Quiz Oct 17th   Science 7L 7E1 and 7E2 Students should be completing their endangered animal questions.   One more class will be given to work on the poster in class.   THeir is no colour printer available at school.   Studnets may purchase a poster board at school from the front office for a small fee.   Science 8 Students should have completed chapter 2 questions.   Students should be reviewing their notes at home.

Homework Oc 10th

Math 7L Today we worked on ordering fractions and decimals.  Q 1, 2 and 3 for homework.  Notes posted below.   Science 7L Lab today.  Pink sheet due next class.   Science 7E2 students are to pick their animal for the endangered animal project.  We will research the animal in class tomorrow.  Questions to answer are posted below.  Final project is a poster containing a picture, border and the answers to the questions.

Homework for Oct 5th

Science 8 We will continue the presentations next week chapter 2 questions have been handed out, but they are not for homework. Science 7L Endangered animal project was explained.  Students are working on this project individually.   A list of questions that should be researched over the next two weeks was handed out.  Final product will be a poster containing the information from the questions.  Homework is to pick their animal.  Questions are posted below. Math 7L Page 89 question 2, 4, ,5 and 6 notes posted below.

Homework Oct 4th

Math 7L We discussed how to change fractions to an equivalent fraction with a denominator of 10, 100 or 1000. We reviewed how to change a fraction to a decimal using equivakent fractions and our calculators.  We reviewed how to correctly say decimals and fractions in French Homework is to finish the table in the notes posted below. Science 7L ·         Test from today are corrected and sent home to be signed.   Science 8L  Quiz corrected and sent home to be sign.  Project due tomorrow. Science 8L2 and 8E  Project due tomorrow.

Homework for October 2nd

       Please take a look at our pictures from 7L2 owl pellet lab today.  It was a lot of fun! http://hms.nbed.nb.ca/teacher/gallery/grade-7-owl-pellot-lab   Math 7L no homework Science 7L Study for test Thursday.  THis is a large test where students need to know all new vocabulary words.  They must be able to explain in their answers using the new terms of the unit.  Review sheet was handed out last class. Science 7E1 We will be disecting next class.  Please bring medical type gloves if you have them.  Test are marked.  They will be passed back after the last student writes. Grade 8 cell project               Science 8E Quiz on cell parts tomorrow.  Project due Friday. Science 8L Quiz Thursday Project due Friday.

Homework Sept 28th

  PIctures have been posted to the gallery for science 7L.  Great work!  Marks will be sent home Monday.   Science 7L Finish last question on worksheet. Study for a test latter next week. Math 7L Test Tuesday on sections 1.1 to 1.6 of the text. Today we reviewed the material using a trivia game.  Monday we will do a formal review. Sience 8 Test on cell day 5 for 8E and day 1 for *L1 and 8L2 Cell project due Friday of next week Oct 5th.  Students are being given time to work on projects in class.  If students have chosen an option that needs to be done at home, they are to be using class time to work on homework for other classes or using the time to do their AR reading.   I can't wait to see the cells alive. Rubric for how the projects are marked is placed below.

Homework for Sept 27th

Math 7L Finish table and graph from notes test tuesday Science 7L Pictures will be posted of projects tomorrow Some groups still need to present Science 8L1 and 8L2 and 8E Students need to work on cell project at home.  Time is being given to work on other homework in class.  Project due end of next week. Students should be learning the parts of a  cell.
