Homework March 26th

Permission slips for the grade 7 field trip are due.   10$ should be given to the homeroom teacher.   Math 7E We started our Module 4.   Notes are attached below.   Please bring a can to class.   All students must have a math set in class each day for his unit.  Math test handed back at the end of the day.   It should be signed for Thursday.   Question 9 was a bonus question.   Congratulations to those students who got it!   Science 7 We started our unit on heat.  Notes attached.   Science 8 We will be doing some peer reviewing of our lab write ups this week.   In the scientific community this is an important review process.   Students who do not have their lab write ups done in class will have to go to detention to finish them.

Homework for March 13th

I will be at district office the next two days so homework will not be posted. Science 8E2 8E1 and 8LDuotangs should be signed.Lab report due next week.(Students will be working on this in class this week.)Science fair projects should be taken home. Science 7Science fair projects should be taken home.Open book test on chapter 11 next week.Project marks have been passed back.Science Fair projects should be taken home. Math 7EReview sheet is due Friday.Duotangs should be signed.   Work was passed back today.

Homework March 12th

Science 7L1 Today we worked on questions from Chapter 11.    Science 8 Students are in the lab next class.  Please bring your  assigned materials.     Math 7E We have decieded to review algebra before moving on to chapter 4.  Sections 1.7, 1.8 and chapter 6 will be reviewed this week.  Notes from today are posted below.

Homework for March break

NO HOMEWORK!!!!   Please do not throw out science fair projects.   Our school fair is March 20th.   We have not been told the number of projects that we will be allowed to send this year.  Hopefully we will know the Monday orTuesday that we return.

Homework for Feb 22

Math 7E Quiz on probability   Science Students who are ready to present may present tomorrow.   Students may have until Monday to present with the understanding that everyone presents before friday, (even if that means presenting at lunch or student enhancement.)   From what I saw today the projects are well done and I am so excited to see everyone present.  Remmeber to take a quick look at your rubric to see how the project is being evaluated.

Homework Feb 20h

Science Science fair is due Thursday.   EVERYONE must present before March Break as it is being included in your term two mark.  Any students wishing to stay after school Tuesday to work on the project may.  Rides should be here between 4:15 and 4:30 to pick students up.   Math 7E Side 2 of worksheet is for homework.  Notets below.

Science Students should be working on the observation and analysis section of their science project.   Students should have their memory sticks, project board and materials in class.   Project is due February 23rd.   Math 7E > is Due Friday February 17th.

Homework for Feb 14th

7E We will be having lunch together tomorrow to celebrate our class spirit for hockey jersey day.  Please bring a beverage.     7L2 The class of 7L2 is one of 5 finalists for the CUTE award in the category of Photostory).   The awards are being held February 15th at JMH.   Members of the class and their families are invited to attend.   Keep your fingers crossed for us!   Science Science Fair projects are due February 23rd.    Students should be working on observations and analysis this week.  We have reviewed how to label photos, draw scientific pictures, label data tables and draw graphs.  Continue to bring your work and memory stick to class.   Math 7E We spent some time reviewing mental math today.   We also review tree diagrams and probability questions.   Side 1 on the worksheet is due for Friday.  Todays notes are posted below.

Homework for Feb 13th

Science Handouts to explain the scientific process and the science fair expectations were sent home today.  Students should be ready to present February 23rd.     Math 7E Students had a supply teacher today for Math.   A review sheet was handed out.   We will go over any questions students have problems with tomorrow.   EXTRA HELP TOMORROW AT LUNCH.
