A Message From Mr A Hayward:
"On Friday, April 23rd, Miramichi Rural School will be hosting the grand opening of its observatory! The night will include research displays from students, robot simulators of the mars rovers, ribbon cutting ceremony, and prizes for winners of the “Name the Observatory Contest” and “Logo Design Contest”. There will also be plenty of posters, stickers, and tattoos to give away.
Attention Soccer Players:
There will be Summer Soccer sign-ups at Sobeys in Douglastown this Saturday. Sharpen your skills for the Fall season and have a whole lot of fun playing this Summer! Kick it!
There will be a Literary Event Fundraiser in the HMS Library this week at the following times:
April 13th, 14th and 15th (8:30-4:30 daily)
April 14th to 5:30 (parents)
There will be hundreds of quality children's books of varying levels available. There will be $25/$25 prize in books to be won by a student and his/her teacher. Other draws will be made during the Book Fair.

You can make a difference for a child who has lost their hair as a result of Alopecia, Burns, Cancer chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
The Purple Team and Drama Club have made it an annual initiative to help Angel Hair for Kids.
Last year, we exceeded our goal of a $500 dollar donation and, through the help of school and community, we sent 7 locks of lovely human hair for wig making. Our total contribution over 2 years has been 15 ponytails. We also were able to purchase matching t-shirts for the Drama Club last year for their trip to the NBTA Provincial Drama Festival.
