Starting on Saturday February 27th, through to Sunday March 7th, school students can ski at the Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club with daily trail passes costing $1.00 and daily equipment rentals costing $1.00. The club will be open from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm daily, weather and snow conditions permitting. To confirm trail conditions students can call 622-6991 or visit www.skimiramichi.com. The club is anxious to provide students with an opportunity to enjoy cross country skiing over March break.
Shaylee Scott, Gabby Dubé and Hannah Hierlihy were recipients of "Most Creative Routine" at the district held "So You Think You Can Dance?" competition this week. Students may remember these dancers from the Christmas Showcase and can anticipate seeing them at the talent show assembly next week.
The Creative Use of Technology Awards went very well last night. Jessica MacDonnell of 62 won for her Photo Essay and Mrs Malley and Ms Barrieau and Mrs Malley's 6C homeroom from last year won the Best Collabrative Project.
It was a great evening with lots of talent showcased!
The Girls JV Basketball Team had a great weekend of Basketball in Moncton. The girls had three very competitive games and parents, spectators and coaches were very impressed by their athleticism and team spirit. Winners of "Miss Hussle- Player of the Game" were Michaela McGrath, Amber Sickles and Rachel Savard. Way to go Lady Blues!
