Chapter 4 - Viscosity:  Thick or thin.
Rough copies as well as good copies.
Students have been working on their Science Fair projects for the last week and a half.  They are permitted partners and can choose from an experimental, reseasrch or comparison study type of project.  I have extra tri-fold presentation boards here at school that are available to any that would like one (recycled).  Each student has a booklet of choices as well as tips on what they should have on their boards and in their projects.  The school level fair will be held on March 19th here at Harkins.
Rescheduled skating this Friday morning!

Posted: February 12, 2014

8A and 8B will be skating on Friday for the first two periods.  Throughout the week, students may try on various sized skates (and helmets) located in our office.  They are welcome to borrow them for Friday.
Notebooks will be handed in on these days and Ch. 3 will be marked.  Our review questions will be used as the Quiz itself for this chapter.  Students will have two science classes to work on the questions.  They can use their peers, textbooks, notebooks or even the computers.  If any questions are unfinished (as well as work/sheets from the notebooks) student enhancement and work at home will be necessary.
