Red Team Fish project

The red team continues to watch and learn about our Fish Project. You will find below the update by the grade 7 students and the second update by the grade 8 students. Check in the gallerie to see pictures of the first part of the project. This week Bethany took pictures of the eggs and tank....stay tunned for a second Gallery next week. Homework for April 19th

Due to network problems Homework was not posted the other day. Math 7E2 Math test on Algebra is Wednesday April 20th. NO class Thursday due to volley ball fundraiser. Mental Math duotang will be picked up next week. Mental Math should be practiced 2 times a week at home. Parents need to sign the red duotang Science 7E1 Test on chapter 8 will be Thursday. Review sheet due tomorrow day 4 Science 7l Test on chapter 8 will be Wednesday April27th. Science review sheet below.

Homework For April 13th

Math 7E2 We are working on modeling solving our algebraic equations using balance diagrams. Homework is to complete the models for the last two questions in the notes. Red duotangs for Mental Math are due Friday. Science 7E1 Poster project is due day 4 of next week. Science 7L NOtes from today are posted. Definitions are to be made for the blue words in the last slide. Poster project is due next day 4. Students will have all of next class (day 2) to work on the project. Please be sure to bring markers to class. one term defined in English and French and a picture. This project can be done individually or in a group.

Homework for April 12th

Math 7E2 In class we are working on solving equations and expressions. Notes are posted below. Homework questions from page 224. Students should be reviewing their Mental Math at home twice a week for 10 minutes. Parents are to sign the chart in the front of the red duotang. Strategies are provided in English and French so that parents may quiz their child in the language of their choice. RED DUOTANGS ARE TO BE BROUGHT TO CLASS EVERY FRIDAY. Science 7E1 Notes are below on changes of state. Homework is to define the blue words on the last slide. Rewrite is tomorrow day 4 at lunch Science 7L No class today due to trip to Carrefour.

Homework for April 11h

Spencer Waye, a member of the Science club, has posted a photo gallery on the Science club webpage. Take a look at the frog dissection we did last week. Great Job Spencer! (the link is off the schools main webpage) Science 7L and 7E1 Students are to make notes for the following words: dilater, contracter, états ou phases, capacité thermique chaleur massique, refroidissement par évaporation. Students are to sign chapter 7 test. Re-write is day four at 11:55 (lunch)

Homework for April 4th

Post intensif French 7A 7b 7c 20 names of famous canadians Math 7E2 Students need their Math sets for class tomorrow. We will be working on constructing circle diagrammes. Today we reviewed for hte test Wednesday on circumference and area. See notes attached below. Science 7L We corrected side one of the review sheet. Tomorrow we will continue our review of > and >.
