Homework September 29th

Math 7E Finish question 4   Science 7L1 Write notes for new terms on page 39 and 40 of text.   Science 8L Next class assignment on the cell is due.   Next class rubrics on project will be explained in detail. Drafts are posted below.  Next 2 classes are work classes for the project. Project is due first class after thanksgiving( October 11th).  Quiz on cell will be next Thursday October6th.   Science 8E1 and 8E2 Next 2 classes are work periods for the project.

Homework for September 27th

Math 7E Notes are posted below.   Students have their first algebra assignment due tomorrow.   Extra help was today.   Science 7E Work on title page.   Great presentations today!   Science 7l2 One more presentation.  No homework!   Science 8E1 Time in class next day to work on cell project.   Bring your materials to class.   Quiz is to be signed for next class.

Homework for September 26th

7E collected $99.30 in our bake sale today for the Terry Fox foundation.   We will sell the left over stuff tomorrow.   Tupperware remaining will be sent home tomorrow.   Great job 7E!   Math 7E Worksheet is due Wednesday.   Extra help tomorrow at lunch.   Science 7E 1 group left to present.   Science 7l1 Presentations start next class   Science 8E1 & 8L Memorize parts of a cell and their function.  Project options for this unit were explained.   Students are to decide if they are working in a group or individually by next class.  Notes and project descriptions below.

Homework for Sept 22

Math 7E We worked on solving algebraic expressions today.   Homework is questions 1 to 5 on page 19.   Science 7 As students finish their projects they will present to the class.   Continue to use your time well in class.  By he end of next week every group should present.   Extentions can always be given.   I would rather see a well done project than a rushed one!   Science 8 L and 8E1 Study cell parts   Science 8E2 Quiz next class on microscopes

Homework for Sept 21st

Math 7E We have started algebra today.   Class notes and examples are posted below.   Homework is to finish the two questions on the last page.     Duotang is to be signed by parents tonight.  Three items are to be signed: Math worksheet, Math quiz and Science Quiz.   7E will be having a bake sale Monday Sept 26th to raise Money for the Terry Fox walk. Thank you for your help!   Science 7L1 Quiz tomorrow.     Science 7L2 The rest of class is to present Friday.  If any group needs an extention please come see me.   I will be available during student enhancement to help with translation, editing.....   Science 7E Some studens will present Friday.   I am available during Student Enhancement if you need help.    Science 8L and 8E1 Quiz tomorrow.   Worksheet was handed back to use to study with.   Science 8E2 We were in the lab today.  Worksheet on > is due tomorrow.   Students will need to use their text (chapitre 1), notes and the website to answer the questions.  Quiz Friday.

HOmework for Sept 20th

Math 7E NO HOMEWORK   Science 7E Part of the class will present their ecosystem project next class (Friday). Drew Devon and Willem Lauryn M Ben, Jessie and Haylie Leigha and Emily The rest of the class will present on Monday Sept 26th.   Rubric on marking is posted below.   Written work is NOT passed in for this project.   Science 7L2 Ian and AJ present tomorrow.  The rest of the class can present Friday.   Written work is NOT passed in for this project.   Science 8E1 We were in the lab today using our microscopes.  Lab report was passed in at the end of class.  Students are to study for the quiz.(Thursday)   Science 8L We did not have class today.   Assignment on > is due tomorrow.  Students are to use their notes, book and webcite to answer the questions.

Homework Sept. 15th

I was not at school yesterday and therefore homework was not posted.   Sorry for any confusion this may have caussed.   Math 7E Students are to finish the worksheet handed out yesterday.   Continue to study your divisibility rules.   Science 7L2 Quiz will be Tuesday.   Students are working on their ecosystem project in class.   Students may also use student enhancement time to work on the project starting Tuesday.   The rubric of how students will be marked was explained in class and is posted below.   Science 7E Quiz will be Tuesday.   I will be going over the rubric of how they are marked tomorrow in class.   Students are to do their research at home.   Time tomorrow in class to work on the project.   Please do not spend a lot of money on this project.   I have handed out some materials in class today.  Students have the option of working individually of in groups of 2 or 3.
