Rachel Ashley visited students at HMS today for her "No Time for That" tour, telling her story of bullying and how she overcame it. Rachel finds solace in her music and she gave a very powerful and entertaining performance with her family/bandmates playing back-up.
In reviewing our emergency plans (Fire Drill and Evacuation Plan), we have realized that we are in need of two decently functioning wheelchairs for special needs students at Harkins Middle. The wheelchairs we currently have are no longer suitable for use.

Due to circumstances beyond our control (paving of Campbell St.), we are rescheduling our
Fire Drill practice to Monday, Sept. 21st and
our Lock Down practice to Tuesday, Sept. 22nd.
Our annual gas fundraiser has begun! This fundraiser allows us to offer the numerous activities that we do at HMS. Thank you so much for your support! See details in the attached document.
