Tuesday, September 8th, 20158am-3pmSnacks and pizza lunch will be provided Make that step to grade 6, first walk, then run,Harkins Middle School is awesome fun!It might seem strange and different at first,but it’s your time to grow and learn.Change is a good thing.We’re friendly here at Harkins Middle! The purpose of this orientation is to make the transition from elementary school to middle school a positive one.  Eighth graders will serve as WEB leaders to the sixth graders.  Large and small group activities are designed to address students’ needs and concerns in an enjoyable manner.  Students should wear comfortable clothes and only bring ½ of their supplies, as locker organization will occur gradually throughout the first week…so travel light on the first day!  Also, if you are taking the bus, please be sure you know what bus you will be taking home.  The district office is in charge of busing and they can be reached at 778-6075.  If you have any questions, you may call Harkins Middle School at 627-4088 or email WEB coordinator Ms Barrieau at amy.barrieau@nbed.nb.ca.  Take the time to look through this website and get acquainted with your new school! :)  See you in September!  
