•  6E1- We are continuing our novel study " Le Caméléon"-Quiz for this novel will be Friday May 13th, 2016. ***All chapters 1,2,3 work must be signed by parents/ guardians.
• 6E1-Announce Publicitaire" **** Students should be working on their draft " New Product"
•  6E2- We are continuing our novel study " Les Pirates",Finish chapter 6 vocabulary words and comprehension question (1) ***-Students should be reviewing their activities in regards to this novel as there will be a comprehension quiz after the final chapters coming up next week.
•  6E2-We have also begun our next writing piece " Announce Publicitaire" ****Students should be thinking of an idea for their "New Product"
• Students should be practising grammar activities online ( please see weblinks for practice links), also there are some great free apps available for tablets and Smart devices.
• Booklet " Les vacances" is due June 1st,  this booklet is to be done at home or during Student Enhancement ( no more then 10-15 minutes per night...should not be completed in 1 day).

• We have also begun our next writing piece " Announce Publicitaire" **** All students should be working on their good copy. Some students have finished their good copy and our now working on their draft of 2nd Affiche Publicitaire.

• The Orange Team will be hosting a grade 8 students vs. teachers handball game Thursday May 12th last period in the gym. Students who wish to attend to watch must pay $1.00 to their homeroom teachers by Thursday at lunch, all funds raised will go towards HMS fundraising campaign to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancer Society.

Andrew is a very dedicated student who works hard, has a great kind and friendly personality with eveyone he encounters. He is also always willing to lend a helping hand to his classmates and teachers. Congratulations Andrew ;-)
• We would like to congratulate Vadin Benoit and Chase Ellis for being students of the week on the Purple Team. Week of April 18th-22th. These two students have demonstrated an improvement alround with their academics, Way to go!

  • 6L- Received their chapter 1 quiz back yesterday, they must get it signed and complete their corrections on a separate piece of loose leaf. If their quiz is not signed and returned by Wednesday May 4th, their corrections will not count and they will received detention for not returning their quiz signed.
  • 6E2&6E1: Heritage Fair- Packet of information was given out + parent letter last week. Students who would like their projects considered for the District Heritage Fair must hand them in by Wednesday May 4th ( Extended date), all other projects are due Monday May 9th ( Extended date)
