Science: All classes have been given an extension on the Science Fair Project deadline (original date was Feb.27). The new due date is Thursday March 12th. All experiment results need to be at school Wed. Feb.25th so we can work on graphs and conclusions.
So far they should have complete:
1. Scientific Method write-up typed (Scientific Question, Hypothesis, Materials, Procedure)
2. Parts of Sci Method individually typed on paper to go on poster board (up to procedure).
Due Wed:
1. Experiment results
Due Thurs March 12th:
1. Sci Method write-up
2. Experiment results, graphs and conclusion
3. Poster board complete with title, sci method, pictures, etc. very neatly and clearly displayed in order.
Math 8B: "Let's go Shopping" flyers assignment was due last Friday. Students who have not yet completed it will stay in at lunch to finish. "Sales tax and discount" sheet is due Thursday.

Grade 8 Math classes are currently working with percents, fractions and decimals. We would like to do a relevant activity for this section using local flyers. If you could please send in with your child any flyers that may interest them it would be greatly appreciated :) (Futureshop, Staples, Sportchek etc)

Grade 8 Ski trip: We are asking for help in collecting items for a Valentine's Day basket we would like to sell tickets on. All proceeds will go toward helping to ensure all grade 8's will have the opportunity to participate.
8B: Need Interim reports brought back signed tomorrow.
8 Math: currently reviewing 'relating fracctions, decimals and percent' and are moving on to calculating percent of a number.
Science (7 & 8): All science lab reports are due Wed of next week.
7B Soc St: Yellow Heritage Fair slips were to be signed and returned last Friday... please check on this if you have not brought yours back signed.
