Homework - Friday September 7th, 2012

Wow!!!  What an awesome first week!  I have to admit, I have an AMAZING group of kids in my homeroom.  They feel like family already!  :-)    Homeroom 8E - Bring in (if you haven't already) green info sheet (checked and signed) white media permission sheet (signed) gas ticket money (if whole book sold) student fee 2 boxes of tissue Language Arts 8E, 8L1 & 8L2 - Read for at least 15 minutes each night.  AR point goals will be assigned shortly and are due on November 9th, 2012.   Sciences Humaines 7E2 - Lisez p. 25, 28 et 30 et répondez aux questions Réfléchis! à la page 30.  Du: mercredi, le 12 septembre.

All Language Arts classes - read for at least 15 minutes.  AR goals due this Friday, June 10th.    Language Arts 7E2 and 7L - Complete your reading and role sheet for tomorrow's literature circle discussion.  Your group is counting on you to be prepared!   Language  Arts 8E and 8F - We are presenting our music/poetry assignments.  Be prepared to be called upon!  Some people who have presented have not handed in their written response.  Your written response is due on the day you present!!! Sciences Humaines 7E1 - Mots croisés dû mercredi le 8 juin.  Test de ch. 6 jeudi, le 9 juin.

All Language Arts classes - read for at least 15 minutes.  AR goals due Friday, June 10th.   Language Arts 7E2 and 7L - Complete your reading and role sheet for tomorrow's literature circle discussion.  Your group is counting on you to be prepared!  Some students still do not have their literature circle work in a separate duotang.  You were asked to have a duotang at the beginning of the unit.  I will be collecting duotangs tomorrow, Tuesday, May 31st and I will not accept large binders or loose sheets!  Role sheets need to be in your duotang and ordered by the date they were completed.    Language  Arts 8E and 8F - We will begin to present our music as poetry assignments.  Be prepared to be called upon!     Sciences Humaines 7E1 - No homework.  :-)

Language Arts 7E2 and 7L - We are working on speaking activities surrounding Student Vote this week.  Watch the local candidates debate on Rogers cable 10 at 8pm, any night this week.  Vote day is on Friday.  The final written copy of your speech will be due on Wednesday, May 4th.  We will go over the bibliography in class on Friday or Monday at the latest. Homework - Wednesda, April 13th, 2011

All Language Arts classes - read for at least 15 minutes.  AR goals due Friday, June 10th.   Language Arts 7E2 and 7L - Work on preparing/learning your speech for your oral presentation.  Make sure you read your speech out loud at home and time it.  Speeches need to be 3 - 4 minutes in length. We have listened to several great speeches so far and I am looking forward to hearing the rest.  The final written copy of your speech is due on Thursday, April 21st.   Language Arts 8E and 8F - Work on preparing/learning your speech for your oral presentation.  Make sure you read your speech out loud at home and time it.  Speeches need to be 3 - 4 minutes in length.  We will begin presenting speeches in class tomorrow, Thursday, April 14th.  Final written copies of speeches are due on Thursday, April 28th.   Sciences Humaines 7E1 - On présente nos projets de patrimoine en classe.  On a déjà écouté deux très bons projets aujourd'hui.  J'ai hâte d'entendre le reste. :-)
