Julianna is attending a wedding at which 300 guests are present. The guests begin to leave the celebration at 9:00 p.m., 20 at a time, and thereafter, groups of 20 guests leave at 20-minute intervals. The bride and groom depart once two-fifths of the guests have left. Right after that, a late-night buffet is served to the remaining guests. At what time is the buffet served?All solutions must be submitted by noon time on Friday, April 24th.

The WE Club is hard at work fundraising for goats for communities in Africa. The We Day agenda is to raise money for these goats and to give half of the raised funds to a local charity. We raised enough for 2 goats thus far. Our next fundraiser is Friday April 24th and it will be a PJ day! All Students will be able to wear their PJ's for the day for the low cost of a $1 donation.  The WeClub will have a class check off list as well as stickers made up for that day! Thank you for your cooperation in advance!

On Friday, April 17th, 17 students from HMS' Gay-Straight Alliance will take part in the Day of Silence to raise awareness about the effects of bullying against Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth.  Students will remain silent all day and communicate only by what they can write on a small notepad or whiteboard.  Donations for Egale Canada, a registered charity that supports LGBTQ positive work in schools, will be accepted. Day of Silence is an international day of action in which students vow to take a form of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of

On Thursday, grade 7 and 8 students took part in Ambulance NB's hands-only CPR training.  Almost 200 students participated in the program that took place in the school gym.
