The Harkins Trebuchet Team had a great day last Saturday at the Miramichi Pumpkin Fling. Although we didn't place, we were the only team to have all three shots measured for contention. Way to go, team! STEM for the win!
We invite you to join us in a celebration on Tuesday, October 18th, 2016, as Harkins Middle School/Junior High School/Academy High School celebrates the end of an era. For students and staff members of the past and present, we hope to have something everyone will enjoy and remember.
The tentative agenda for the day has been set, and we need the help of volunteers to ensure this day is a success.
Do you have a parent, grandparent, neighbor or friend who went to Harkins in the past? Let us know! We want to interview them for our big Harkins Celebration!

Our annual school-wide gas fundraiser has begun and the prizes are AWESOME! (ahem...IPad Mini, bike, cash, more!!!) Sell, sell, sell this week to be eligible for prizes and to help support the activities within our school!
Our Meet the Teacher will happen in the HMS Gym on Wednesday, September 14th from 6-7pm. Items to be discussed include the new district attendance protocol and new report cards.
Picture Day will be this Thursday, September 15th.
Cross country will begin on Monday, September 12th afterschool on the backfield from 3:00 to 3:45pm. Races will take place every Wednesday at 4pm, beginning September 21st.
