Attention grade 8 students: We are looking for a baby picture of you, way back when you were ‘oh-so-cute!’. Your 'throw-back' photos will be featured in this year’s Year-In-Review. You may bring your photos to Ms Kingston or Ms Barrieau by Friday, June 17th or email them to amy.barrieau@nbed.nb.ca.
The STEM Cell is looking for 3D design artists! We are presenting a challenge to all Harkins Middle School students to design an original Harkins Middle School logo. The logo will then be embedded in a piece of an historical 3D print of Lord Beaverbrook. Harkins Middle is part of this collaborative 3D printed sculpture of Lord Beaverbrook which will then be displayed at the Beaverbrook Gallery in Fredericton, NB. Make your mark on this historic project for yourself and for our final year of Harkins!
RugbyNB is spending the week at our school teaching our kids the game of flag rugby. Blake Edwards a great coach, player and athlete with 23 years experience in the game is sharing that experience with our students with the primary focus being on fun and skill development. The kids were enjoying being introduced to the sport. We are very grateful he is here to do this with our kids.
A few thoughtful HMS students took it upon themselves to raise funds for Fort Mac. They made $55 in a week and a half, selling tickets outside of the cafeteria. Thanks to all those who supported their venture!
And the winner of the Goji's gift card is...Ava Power! Congrats!
