Bonjour mes amis!  We are getting right into our 'extreme sports and physical activity' unit in French classes on the Orange team!  We have some "mini projets"  coming up in the near future so start thinking about an extreme sport you want to explain to the class!  In Social Studies, we have Heritage Fair projects to keep in mind!  You only have a couple more weeks to complete them!  I have handed out many topics and ideas, as well as planning sheets to give you the best start possible, but you should have been thinking about them/working on them all year anyway :)  Students will be given some class time next week, they always have Student Enhancement and many lunch hours to work on them, however some work will need to be done at home.  I haven't seen many using that time to work on them yet, I hope they are coming along!Have a great evening!Don't forget:   Documentary permission slip and $ if you are coming to see "Revolution"                         on the 18th.                           Report card envelopes signed ASAP

Bonjour mes amis! Welcome back!  We were pleased to welcome two new students to our team today!  A Korean student, who will be with us until March break & a previous student who missed her Harkins family and has returned for the rest of the year!    We are getting right back in the swing of things; finishing off presentations that we couldn't fit in before the break & some narrative writing in French class.  In Social Studies we are reviewing what we have learned so far about maps, our globe, our country, province and the governments.   Let's make 2013 the best yet!Madame L'Huillier Comeau

Les classes de français travaillent sur des projets sur la mode du 20e siècle.  Ils sont due le 12 décembre.   Orange team French classes are working on a clothing project.  They have had at least a period and a half in the computer lab to work on their Power Point presentations (most are finished or very close).  The oral part of the presentation is continually worked on through class discussion and written work.  The due date is Dec. 12th.  There will be one more lab day to tidy up loose ends and organize/practice their presentations before the due date.  If you are behind the others, there is time to catch up, I have lunch hour Wednesday & Student Enhancement Monday & Tuesday to help.Have a great evening!
