Read 15 mins   Students will be tested tomorrow on STAR reader. On Monday, all students will receive their reading levels and point goals. A letter will be sent home to parents outlining the AR program.   Book Orders due September 26th   Photos to be returned to homeroom teachers if purchased   Sold tickets to be sent in to homeroom teachers   Hat day tomorrow - cost is $1 and proceeds to HMS Terry Fox Run   Dance tomorrow

 Book Orders have been passed out!! This is a great way for students to discover a love of reading. Everyone seemed very excited about the new orders and the books that are available. Please be advised that book orders are due on September 26th. You can send them in any time up until that date. Interested in surprising your child with a book for a special occasion? You can drop off the money and book order slip to the office or my room with the instructions anytime! Read 20 mins Finish Draft of story    Book Orders are due Dec 3rd, 2009. If there are parents wanting to surprise their child with a book at Christmas and would like to order through this book order, you can do so privately. Just come in and give me the order or if you leave the order at the office for me, please attach a note saying that this is a gift order. I will contact parents as soon as the order arrives!!  Animal Shelter Campaign has begun. Accepting donations of canned cat or dog food, Blankets, cleaning supplies, kitty litter. We also accept cash donations and will go and purchase the food needed and deliver to the shelter. Thank you in advance for your support!!      

Read 20 mins Remembrance Day sheets to be finished. These sheets should be located in the reading duotang. Remembrance Day Poem or Essay due by Friday. They can wear this under a hoody if they choose.   Skating this Friday November 13th. Purple will be going with Blue first. We will leave the school at approx. 8:35 am
