Homework - Monday, November 5, 2012

Math 8A, 8B, and 8C need to review for their test on Tuesday on Dividing Integers and Order of Operations. Reminder: There is Math Tutorial on Monday from 11:55 a.m. to 12:25 p.m., Tuesday from 11:55 a.m. to 12:25 p.m., and 3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. for anyone who needs extra help.

Homework - Wednesday, October 17, 2012

                          Math 8A, 8B, and 8C - We are still working on multiplying integers. Students had a class time start of 40 minutes to work on questions on pages 68-69. If they did not finish the questions in class, please finish for homework. There will be a quiz on multiplying integers on Friday. Students need to know how to model multiplication of integers using both - numbers lines and coloured tiles.

Math - 8A, 8B, and 8C need to get their Math test signed and make corrections.     ***Reminder: Math Tutorial is offered at the following times: Monday: 11:55 p.m. to 12:25 p.m. Tuesday: 3:10 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday: 12:25 p.m. to 12:55 p.m. Thursday: 7:50 a.m. to 8:16 a.m.   Tomorrow we will be working on the Curriculum Outcome: N7: Demonstrate an understanding of multiplication and division of integers, concretely, pictorially, and symbolically.

8A - Finish questions #3 and 4 on page 34 8B & 8C - Finish questions on page 34 - #3, 4, 5. (a, b only), 6. (a, b only), and 7 (a, b only) and on page 35 - #8 (a, b only), and 9.  Note: Most of the students in both 8B & 8C finished their homework in class or Student Enhancement.       Reminder: Students from 8A, 8B, and 8C will be having a quiz on Thursday. They should be reviewing outcomes NN1, N2, and SS1   ***Extra Math Help is offered Monday-Thursday and everyday during Student Enhancement when Personal Development is not scheduled.

The bus will be leaving at 8:25 a.m. Remember to bring: water, lunch & snacks, sunscreen, bug repellent, towel, and wear a hat, comfortable clothes and sneakers.....and be ready to have lots of fun!!!
