All grades will be writing a math assessment on Friday December 12/14. I am sending home extra practice sheets for students in my 7A class to work on to help better prepare them for the assessment. They can work on these on their own time.

The orange team will be hosting the December dance on December 12/14. The dress is casual and school dress code still applies.

Just a riminder that the Orange Team grade 7s will be skating at the Civic Center Friday November 28th. They leave the school at 10:15 and will return at 11:45. Parents are encouraged to come skate with us! Helmets are a requirement!!!

For the cost of just $1.00 Harkins Middle School students will be able to wear there pajama bottoms to school on Wednesday (tomorrow) Sept. 24/14.

If parents are interested in purchasing their child school picures, please have the money in the envelope, the package clearly marked on the envelope and the envelope returned to school no later than Sept. 25/15. Picture retakes will be on Oct. 15/14.

Tomorrow night, from 6 - 8:30, come and dance the night away at our irst school social. Feel ree to accompany your children to this event to have a look at how much fun they have. I any parent wishes to stay and help supervise, the more the merier!! Hope to see you all there!

The Orange Team will be hosting a hat day tomorrow, Sept. 19, to help raise funds for the Terry Fox Foundation. For $1.00, students will receive a sticker which allows them to wear their hat all day in school. Please encurage your kids to support this cause.
