In x country news, Harkins dominated the track last night in Nelson. Grade 8 girls: Bailey Black came first over all with Emily Roy and Lauren Henderson nipping at her heals.  Grade 7 boys: Jonathan Kingston blew by the finish line with Nathan McDiarmid and Thomas Comeau hot on his trail.  Grade 7 girls: Kristy Vautour completed the race strong being the only representative for HMS!!! Way to go Kristy!

We will be having our start up Home & School meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 26th at 6:30 in the Harkins Common Room, room # 215. This is an organizational meeting. We will be keeping it to one hour, finishing at 7:30. If you have an interest in getting involved at “any level” then we would love to see you there! Please come out! Your support is needed and appreciated!

Our annual Back to School Social will take place this Friday from 6-8:30pm.  The cost is $5 and there will be a canteen available.  All school rules apply and students must be picked up promptly at 8:30pm.  See you there HMS! :)

The Lee Academy Pandas (men) and STU Tommies (women) will hold clinics for boys and girls in grades 6-8 on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13TH from 9-11am! Boys clinic @ Ecole Carrefour Beausoleil. Girls clinic @ MVHS. Registration fee is $10/player (payable upon arrival).  Email Jim Watters at james.watters@nbed.nb.ca to pre-register. Please provide name, grade, school, email address and phone number. Limit is 40 players per clinic, so reserve your spot NOW!
