7E1, 7E2, 7L Everyone's favourite time of year is back: Heritage Fair Time! All three classes will begin working on their projects this week. They will be bringing home an 8 page document for you to read as a family. They need to return the slip with your signature by this tuesday (7E1) or wednesday (7E1/7L). They must decide on a topic by this thursday (for 7E1/7E2) or friday (7L). Please help them to make a wise and interesting choice. Throughout the heritage project process, I will be taking the classes to the computer lab often. It is vital that they have all their information at school each day. They should be working on this project at home as well. Please help to support them in this awesome opportunity to learn about Canadian history and culture! 6A, 6B- Students will continue their unit on robots. - Students will begin planning their own personal robot to do their bidding. The idea is that this robot will do the things they dislike doing (chores, homework, etc.). Once the planning period is done, students will nneed to bring in household items (kleenex boxes, paper towel rolls, ice cream containers, etc.) to contruct their robot. 8A, 8B- Students are presenting their final project for the "La Mode d'Autrefois" (The Styles of the Past) unit. - Once all projects have been presented, students will begin a new unit on Extreme Sports.
