Homework March 9th

Science 8L2-Today first period we reviewed technic for finding mass and volume. We also corrected worksheet 5.1 and 5.2 on density. THe notes and corrections are posted below.-In our second class we did a lab. If you missed todays class you will need to make up the lab on day 4 at student enhancement. Lab sheet is due day 2.Math 8L-We have started our grade 8 algebra today. This is found in Chapter 6.2. Notes are posted below. Homework is to finish he last few questions.

Science Fair

The Red team (grade 7 and 8) will be having a science fair showcase this Wednesday February 25th from 1 to 2 pm. The storm date is Thursday, February 26th. Parents are invited to join us on the team floor to view the projects. To avoid interfering with the elementary school’s bus run, we ask that you park in the Knights of Columbus parking lot across the street. We hope to see you Wednesday to celebrate science in action at Harkins Middle!

Homework

Math 8L-We reviewed our models for algebra from grade 7. Homework is p. 324 Q 6, 7, 8 and 10. Science 8-Projects went well today. Student who have not presented will present tomorrow. Please remember to pass in one copy of the report to Mrs. Murphy and one copy to Mr. Thompson. Parents are invited to view projects Wednesday February 25th from 1 to 2 pm.
