Classe titulaire 6E1:Purple Team Goodie Cart is ready!!!! We will be offereing during Nutrition Break a chance for students to purchase a snack, on our goodie cart you can find the following items for $1.00 each 100% juice (various flavours), baked chips, cheese strings, for .50 each students can purchase Fruit to Go snacks.Meet the Teacher evening will be Wednesday September 10th from 6-7 pm, we will be starting in the gym and moving to team area after. Hope to see and meet our Purple Team parents ;-)Picture day for grade 6 will be Thursday September 12th (usually in the morning).The Purple Team will be hosting our Welcome Back to School Social Friday September 19th from 6:00-8:30 in our gym, if you would like to volunteer to supervise please e-mail me or leave a message at 627-4088.GAS DRAW FUNSRAISER has started!!!!!!! Tickets are $2 each, there are 20 tickets per pack. Each child has received 1 pack. Welcome grade 6's students to HSM, I really hope you all had a fabulous first day back!!!! I am very excited to meet all my new students, and enjoyed spending some time with you today. I also look forward to a fantastic, enjoyable and aventurous year with the Purple Team. Today our field trip to Ritchie's Wharf was cancelled due to the inclement weather. We will not be rescheduling this trip, thus we have reimbursed everyone who had paid $5.00.As a results of our cancelled trip, the students had an opportunity to watch a fundraising volleyball game between the teachers and students. The cost to attend was $1.00, with this some students used part of their refund to attend.Thursday June 19th, 2014 9:00 will be HMS awards ceremony, everyone is invited to attend.We would like to congratulate Emily Drisdelle for being Student of the Month on the Purple Team for May and Brayden Allain for being Student of the Month for June! Wednesday June 18th will be our Ritchie's Wharf and Boating field trip. We will be leaving HMS at 10:15 and returning at 2:45. Please make sure your son/daugther has sun screen with them. If they don't eat hot dogs/hamburgers please pack them an alternate lunch. POTLUCK, please be advised all food must be prepared/cooked at home, we will not have time to prepare anything in the morning. We can however reheat items.Students will be cleaning out their lockers tomorrow (Tuesday June 17th and bringing materials home for the year). We would like to congratulate Emily Drisdelle for being Student of the Month on the Purple Team for May.Our 1st field trip as a whole team will be Friday June 6th Pays de la Sagouine. Students are reminded to pack a lunch ( no access to heating), snacks, water and comfortable clothing ( dress for the weather...it may rain/ umbrella). Everything is paid for unless they want to buy a souvenir or something from the canteen ( they are permitted to bring spending money). NO CAMERA'S, Purple Team teachers will be taking pictures.
