Purple Team and Homeroom 6E1 Last Scholastic book orders for the year are due June 4th, 2015. ****Students who received coupons for being Student of Week should be using their coupon so they don't lose it. We would like to congratulate Cole Johnson for being Student of the Month for April! Way to go Cole you are a fantastic role modeol for you peers :-)We would like to congratulate Billy Thomas, Shaylin Chamberlain and Zoel Daigle for being Students of the Week for May 11th-15th, 2015.Français 6E1 et 6E2 We have begun work on a novel study 6E1 ( Le Caméléon), 6E2 ( Les Pirates). I will be reading the novel to the students in class and there will be assigned vocabulary and reading comprehension questions they will work on in class and at home for each chapter. At the end of the book, there will be a quiz based on classroom discussion and questions answered. Also, students will need to complete mini projects ( due Monday June 8th). So in lieu of reading each night, they should be working on their novel study questions or mini projects. Get Final Novel Study Project signed and returned to Ms. Richardson ASAP.  6E2 & 6E1: Faire signer ( Sign) les 2 compréhension de lecture ( reading comprehension) " Will Smith" et " La fête des mères".Students have received their last booklet " Livret Les Vacances" today, they are to work on it 10-15 minutes each night or during Student Enhancement. There is no school Thursday April 30th and Friday May 1st, 2015.   Harkins Middle JV Boys VolleyballPractices are Monday & Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:00.  Game #5 in Millerton Wednesday April 29th, 2015 at 3:45 pm. ***Leave immediately after school should be in Blackville by 3:30. ***This is a last minute game......and I realize not all players will be able to attend.Game #6 here at HMS, we are hosting Millerton Tuesday May 5th at 6:30 ***Be here by 6:10. ·      JV Boys Volleyball Jamboree will be Saturday May 9th here at HMS….more info to come when everything is confirmed.     Students will need to pay a $25.00 fee non-refundable to Harkins Middle School (pay Ms. Richardson….receipt will be given once paid)Students will need to pay a $50.00 uniform fee to Harkins Middle (this will be reimbursed/ returned) at the end of the season when the uniform is returned. These small booklets is to help reinforce reading and vocabulary in French. I don't expect students to spend hours per evening/ weekend completing this booklet. They have over 1 month to finish it, the booklet has also been explained in detail in class.
