Welcome to Harkins! The staff and students of Harkins Middle School invite you to our WEB Sixth Grade Orientation on Tuesday, September 3rd , 2013 8am-3pm (GRADE 6 STUDENTS ONLY; GRADE 7 & 8 WILL COMMENCE WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4TH).Snacks and pizza lunch will be provided for 6th graders on this day. The purpose of this orientation is to make the transition from elementary school to middle school a positive one.  Eighth graders will be serving as leaders to the sixth graders.  Large and small group activities are designed to address students’ needs and concerns in an enjoyable manner.  Wear comfortable clothes and don’t bring all of your stuff…travel light!  Also, if you are taking the bus, be sure you know what bus you will be taking home.  You may find out by calling the district office at 778-6075.  If you have any questions, you may call Harkins Middle School at 627-4088 or email WEB coordinator Ms Barrieau at amy.barrieau@nbed.nb.ca See you in September!INFORMATION FOR GRADE 8 WEB LEADERS• WEB Leader Training: Tuesday, August 27th, 2013, 8:30 to 2pm and Wednesday, August 28th, 2013, 8:30 to 1:00 pm. • Sixth Grade Orientation: Tuesday, September 3th, 2013, 8am-3pmSee you in August, WEB Leaders!
