Our Scholastic Book Fair will be held on Feb. 10, 11, 12, Mon., Tues., Wed.  from 8:00 to 4:00pm.The theme is “READING OASIS”.  There will be a jar going around to each classroom to GUESS HOW MANY items are in the jar- the winner drawn will win $20.00 in books!There will be ballots for parents who visit the Fair and the prize will be $20.00 in books.So…. Students are encouraged to have their parents visit the Fair.  If a student or parent cannot make it to the Fair, but wish to purchase a book or two, they can send the money in to the librarian and she will look after putting the books aside or reordering, which the books reordered will be in the day the entire books are picked up.Remember that for every 10.00 spent, 6.00 goes to the LIBRARY.  :) Just a note:  If grade 8 students wish to purchase a book for their favorite teacher in the school, we will have an insert to put in that book for that person.Scholastic calls this “LEAVE A LEGACY” .  Grade 8’s are leaving and want to let their favorite teacher know that they were their favorite.    Mrs. McGrathLibrary
