March and April will be a busy time for HMS students in Social Studies. During this time, students in all grades will be working on their HMS Heritage Fair Project. This assignment requires students' focused efforts to meet deadlines. Due to time constraints, students may often have homework on their Heritage Fair Project. The HMS Heritage Fair Project can have four components: 1. a written research report; 2. a visual presentation; 3. class work; and 4. an oral presentation of 3 to 5 minutes.  Students will select their own topic. However, list of suggested topics will be provides by Social Studies teachers.  Because of the work involved, if students fall behind, it will be difficult to catch up. For this reason, parents' support will be greatly appreciated.
