The Terry Fox National School Run Day on Friday, September 25th was well received by students and staff of Harkins Middle School. Classes found innovative ways to raise funds that will help fight cancer. In some classes, each student brought in a donation, while other classes sold popsicles afterschool. There was even a draw for a giant Teddy Bear, won by Rorie on the Orange Team. Over 600 dollars was raised and students ended the event by walking around the track. As the slogan for this day reads,
"Millions of students and educators; thousands of schools; one dream: a world without cancer."

A big thank you to Mlle Miousse for organizing this event.
