Miss Miousse's grade 6 students are participating in a Christmas charity program called GIFTS of MAGIC.  You too can provide crucial aid to children living in areas affected by poverty, conflict or natural disaster. Miss Miousse suggests that students approach a parent, a relative, or a friend who usually gives them a gift at Christmas, and ask them to instead, give the value money of the gift so we can, in return, send it to UNICEF to provide life-changing gifts to children around the world.  Some students have even already volunteered to take money from their own savings.  Nevertheless, keep in mind, this activity is voluntary. Also, some students take pleasure in offering a Christmas gift to their teacher.  Instead, we would suggest that they make a contribution to UNICEF. Contributions should be in by Wednesday, December 2nd.Depending on how much we raise, we will then discuss what gifts we want to give, among such things as:Survival Bundle……………………………. $215.00Education Bundle ………………………….. $243.00School in a box………………………………$ 280.0030 pk of anti-malaria tablets…………………$  32.00285 polio vaccines…………………………...$  60.0070 measles vaccines………………………… $  23.001 bicycle…………………………………….. $  70.00 Miss Miousse's class will then walk to the Post Office as a group to mail the order and they will send a picture to our local newspaper.  A photo will also be posted on this site.  The grade 6s would appreciate any support for this worthy case!
