From Friday:

Today, April 15th, is the Day of Silence.  The 27 student members of the Gay Straight Alliance at HMS, as well as two teacher-mentors, are participating in this student-led campaign that seeks to raise awareness about the silencing effect of LGBTQ bullying.  Students are pledging to remain silent all day, and are challenging others to think about the voices we often DON'T hear in society.  You can read more about the campaign at www.dayofsilence.org.
