There will be Cross Country Tuesday & Thursday this week from 3-3:45, with a district meet at Dr Losier on Wednesday at 4pm. Any HMS student may attend ANY of these Cross Country activities. Also, if any HMS student(s) are interested, there is a meet in Hampton on September 20th. Here are the details: Hampton Wildcats Middle School XC Invitational Saturday, Sept 20 2014 We invite you to join us in Hampton for the first annual Hampton Wildcats Middle School Invitational on Saturday September 20th. The meet is open to teams and/or individual athletes. The course at Hampton Middle School will include new sections of Hampton’s trial system that is now part of the Trans-Canada Trail. The same trial system and grounds will be featured for this year’s New Brunswick Provincial Middle School Championships slated for October 18th, 2014. The spectator friendly course will be great preparation for your district meets as well as Provincials. The meet is sanctioned by Athletics New Brunswick. Order of Events 1. 10:45-11:45 On-site Registration 2. 11:30 Course Walk through 3. 12:00 Grade 6 Girls 1500m 4. 12:20 Grade 6 Boys 1500m 5. 12:40 Grade 7 Girls 2000m 6. 13:00 Grade 7 Boys 2000m 7. 13:20 Grade 8 Girls 2500m 8. 13:45 Grade 8 Boys 3000m Entries – Entry fee is $4 per athlete that register by email before September 18th and $5 for athletes that register on site on the morning of the event. A maximum charge of $60.00 per team regardless of the number of participants.
