Rebuilding Haiti through Education, One Pencil at a TimeHarkins Middle School, in partnership with Duncan Dee, Chief Operating Officer of Air Canada and his wife Mary, are working to help eleven year old Carlos, a boy from Haiti, rebuild his community through education.  Having lost everything, including his family, in the earthquake, he needs our help to support his makeshift school.  Even at a young age, Carlos knows that education is the key to making a better and enriching life.  Let’s help him by donating much needed school supplies and French reading material.  Monetary donations will also be accepted and used to purchase supplies.  Homerooms will be accepting supplies and books for the next two weeks.  The homeroom that gathers the most donations will be rewarded with a pizza party.
