The second Red Team Grade 8 Exploratory class will start their Digital Photography unit the week of December 3rd to 7th.  Students will be asked if they can bring cameras from home to practice with.  This will allow students to develop skills that can be used behond the classroom using their own equipment.  Also, student that bring a camera will have a choice to work on their own for their first photo assignment.  Otherwise, students will work in small groups using cameras borrowed from our district office.  One very important objective of the photography unit is to learn and practice composition. The attached document includes teaching notes from Mr. Gadd regarding essential photography fundatmentals.  This document will be used as a technical quide as we begin the photographie unit.  Students will not be receiving a copy of this document.  Thus, it is made available here for students' reference.
