We had two very successful campaigns this week and they would not have occured without all your support.  We walked down to the radio station with approx 40 students and they made us very proud, they represented HMS with great attitudes and smiles. We would like to congratulate Sophie Taylor for being Student of the Month for September. We should be bery proud of everything she has accomplished so far this year. Way to go Sophie! We would also like to congratulate Landon Stewart and Vada Benoit for being Purple Team's Students of the Week for September 28th-0ctober 2nd. Every activity will be explained to the students, if they get to an activity and can't remember what is being asked or don't understand, please have them see me for further explaination. Students have 1 month to complete this assignment, they are not to finish the booklet in 1 day, each day/night they should be working on it for 10-15 minutes. They have opportunities in class when all other work is finished or during Student Enhancement to work on their booklet.  Science Humaines (Social Studies) 6E1, 6E2, 6L:6L- Get book cover. Have discussion with parents/ guardians on the upcoming Federal Election. Here is some information:Miramichi Food Bank Facts:- spends $10,000/month to keep the shelves stocked- purchases 200 loaves of bread a month- purchases 160 1L milk - 3x a month- purchases 450-500 lbs of ground beef a month- serves 352-400+ families a month *** Students can bring in any type of donations to their homeroom teacher until Friday October 2nd.
