Classe titulaire 6E1 (HOMEROOM) + Equipe violette (Purple Team).Contact: cheryl.richardson@nbed.nb.ca or 627-4088.Tickets for Christmas Basket fundraiser: All students have received 1 booklet of tickets to sell ( 10 tickets in each booklet), each ticket is $2.00. All tickets sold or unsold must be returned by Monday December 14th, as they draw will be Tuesday December 15th. We have two prizes, 1st prize: Basket valued at over $250 and 2nd prize: Elle diamond pendant necklace donated by Siddall's Jewelry valued at $79.00.  Thank you everyone for your gracious donations, without all your support we would not be able to have this fundraiser!Team potluck notice: Every student has received a yellow potluck notice, please fill out and return by Thursday December 10th, 2015. Skating: Purple Team will be skating Friday December 11th, 2015. First bus run will be leaving at 10:15 (second immediately following), we will be skating until 11:35 ( first return bus will be at 11:40, and second immediately after).Please note students are to have skates and helmet to come to the rink (parents/guardians may bring their child's equipment directly to the rink if they would like).Also, students should be able to tie their own skates, please practices this at home with them. We have 65 students on the team and only 3 teachers to supervise on and off the ice. Parents are always welcome to join us at the rink to skate with their son/daughter :-)We would like to congratulate Jorja Lavoie for being Student of the Month for November on the Purple Team! Jorja is in the late immersion program and she works to her full potential everyday, she can be observed using the oral language, asking questions and helping others, we our very proud of everything she has accomplished so far. Way to Go!.We would also like to congratulate   Eden Maltby and Jordan Rupke for being Purple Team's Students of the Week for November 30th-December 4th, 2015. Very hard workers with great positive attitudes.Français (French) 6E1, 6E2. Students are to work on their booklet 10-15 minutes each night, and can also work on it during Student Enhancement. This booklet is not meant to be done in one day or weekend, it's used for review and vocabulary building. Finished booklets are due by Friday December 18th (last day before break).Students on working on 2nd book report and writing piece (good copy) of "La recette" in class.Français (French) 6L (late) Students will be working on their 2nd book report this week and next in class and at home. Students are to work on their booklet 10-15 minutes each night, and can also work on it during Student Enhancement. This booklet is not meant to be done in one day or weekend, it's used for review and vocabulary building. Finished booklets are due by Friday December 18th (last day before break).Students will now be require to read 15 minutes in French every night from Monday-Thursday (they may read over the weekend if they choose). Students will pick books at their level from my class library, they may be reading the same book for a whole week, this is perfectly ok, rereading is very beneficial in a second language. Science Humaines (Social Studies) 6E1, 6E2, 6L.Students have all their notes for this unit, they should be reading it over 2-3 times a week. ****** Please note quiz will  be   after the Christmas break as we will not have time to complete all activities before the break.We are starting a new unit on rights and freedoms- students should be looking at The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms ( see weblinks to the right), to read up on it.
