If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact one of the teachers on the team. We are looking for all donations to be brought in to school by November 30th. Thank you!We would like to congratulate Kiersten Hamilton for being Student of the Month for October on the Purple Team! Kiersten can always be observed helping others, she has a big and king heart and we would like to congratulate her for being a fantastic role model for others. Way to Go!.We would also like to congratulate  Andrew Leslie and Bethany Campbell for being Purple Team's Students of the Week for November 16th-19th, 2015. Wonderful role models for their peers!Français (French) 6E1, 6E2.Student are presently working on their writing piece "recette" (recipe).Students need to get their booklets signed ( La rentrée et L'Halloween). Get book report #1 signed and returned.Français (French) 6L (late) Students will now be require to read 15 minutes in French every night from Monday-Thursday (they may read over the weekend if they choose). Students will pick books at their level from my class library, they may be reading the same book for a whole week, this is perfectly ok, rereading is very beneficial in a second language. We will be starting discussions and activities related to a writing piece "recette", recipe this week. Students need to get their booklets signed ( La rentrée et L'Halloween) for next week. Get book report #1 signed and returned.Science Humaines (Social Studies) 6E1, 6E2, 6L.We are starting a new unit on rights and freedoms- students should be looking at The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms ( see weblinks to the right), to read up on it.Discussion questions: 1. What is a right (droit)? 2. What is a privilege (privilège)? 3. What is the difference between the two? 4. How do we have rights? 5. How do we get provilieges? 6. Can rights be taken away? 7. Can privileges be taken away?
