  • Rien/ Nothing

Français 6E (Early immersion)

    •  Students MUST be reading each night a book at their level, they will choose a book on Monday and read the same book for 1 week, the next Monday they will exchange their book for  a new one at their level. Running records will be done 1-2 per term. 
    • Booklets " Noel et l'hiver" is due Friday December 16th, 2016. Students should be working on this booklet 10-15 minutes each night ( no more then this).
    • Get quiz #9  spelling signed, and rewrite the words they got wrong 3 times.
    • Study spelling words week # 10, and complete 1 sentence per word. Spelling sentences and quiz are due on Monday December 12th , 2016. 
    • Semaine #10- Les mots d'orthographe:

      1. cette               6. pendant

      2. dessous           7.  quelque fois

      3. est (il)            8. rien

      4. maintenant         9.  trop

       5. où                   10. vite

      Français 6L (late immersion)

      • Spelling Quiz #11- Study words, quiz is next Monday December 12th, 2016. ****Students are working on writing their sentences individually- They are to be completed for homework and handed in on December 12th, 2016.

Français 7E 

  • Finish both " Texte 4 et Texte 6" there are 4 questions per reading comprehensions. The questions focus only on inferencing, these are due tomorrow Wednesday December 6th.
  • Study and practice the following verbes ( Présent Indicatif + Passé composé) 1. avoir 2. être 3. aller 4. faire. They will be receving pop quizzes throughout the year....they must know these 4 verbes inside and out!
  •  Students MUST be reading each night a book at their level, they will choose a book on Monday's and read the same book for 1 week, the next Monday they will exchange their book for a new one at their level.  ***Students who have reached level 29/30 have free choice of their book. 
  • Students have chosen their groups and must now chose a topic to support or defend ( debate format), in class they will work on developing/ finding reasons to support their opinion. 

 Français 8E/8L

  • 8E-Students must complete "Texte 4 et Texte  6" is due tomorrow Wednesday décember 7th ( these are short reading compréhension textes with 4 questions which only focus on Inférencing".
  • Study and practice the following verbes ( Présent Indicatif + Passé composé) 1. avoir 2. être 3. aller 4. faire. They will be receving pop quizzes throughout the year....they must know these 4 verbes inside and out.
  •  Students MUST be reading each night a book at their level, they will choose a book on Monday's and read the same book for 1 week, the next Monday they will exchange their book for a new one at their level. ****Students who have reched level 29/30 have free choicce of the book they read at night and in class. 
  • 8E/ 8L-Students have chosen their group, debate topic and working on developing arguments for or against their topic. They will debate in front of the class and try and convince the rest of the class to take their side on a particular issue. 
  • 8E- Students must choose 1 topic to write their opinion letter (writing piece), they recieved 1 period in the lab last week and will receive 1 more this week to collect research/data on their topic. They should be doing research at home also, this week they will begin their draft of opinion piece.
