Dress Rehearsal for Dress Rehearsal for Murder

Dress rehearsal for all actors and skits will take place on Saturday, May 7th, from 1-5pm. EVERYONE IS EXPECTED TO ATTEND. There will be a pizza lunch and we will draw for the Mother's Day Basket. Things to Remember to Bring to Drama Festival, May 9th-11th, 2011

****Your Costume and Props****- Good Walking Sneakers- Extra Spending Money- Towels, Faceclothes and Optional Flip-Flops for the Shower- Shampoo, Soap etc.- An Optional Light Blanket and/or Pillow for Traveling etc.- All Other Basic Travel Appareil (Clothing for 3 days, toothbrush & paste, …) Please note:- Electronics are acceptable to bring, but are not allowed in the theatres during plays. You must pay special attention not to lose your device since we will not interrupt our time at the festival, looking for lost i-pods etc. - PLEASE KEEP PACKING LIGHT! We must take 43 people and their luggage on one bus and packing the bus can prove to be very challenging. If possible, bring softer gym-like bags, since they fit under the seats much easier. We will be loading the bus at 8:30am Monday morning. Please be at the Harkins main door ready to roll for that time. We will return between 8:30 and 9pm on Wednesday. Crunch Time: Final Practices

Hi All, There will be drama from April 26th to April 29th from 3-4:30pm. Skits my coordinate their practice schedules accordingly. There will also be drama for "Dress Rehearsal for Murder" cast members only on Sunday, May 1st from 12-3pm. The following week, May 2nd to 4th, there will also be drama from 3-5pm. (We will not practice Thursday or Friday.) Dress rehearsal for all actors and skits will take place on Saturday, May 7th, from 1-5pm. We appreciate your commitment during crunch time. Drama Week 6

There will be drama afterschool Monday-Thursday, 3-4:30pm, April 18th-21st. See Ms Barrieau for tickets for basket. Remember fees, $17 (registration) + $104 (food, accomodations) + $15 (t-shirt) = $136. You may sell tickets to raise this money!

Drama Week 5

There will be drama this week Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 3-4:15pm. Skit actors should meet with their group to decide when you wish to practice (Monday, Wednesday or Thursday). Please let Ms Barrieau know when you plan to practice this week. Remember $17 is due immediately. The other $104 + $15 for the t-shirt is also due anytime. Students may sell Mother's Day Basket tickets to off-set this cost (see story below).

Mother's Day Basket and T-Shirts

HARKINS MIDDLE SCHOOL DRAMA CLUB’S: MOTHER’S DAY BASKET With the monies raised last year, we were able to purchase matching t-shirts for the Drama Club for our their trip to the NBTA Provincial Drama Festival. This year, we would like to again raise funds by means of a Mother’s Day Basket. We are asking each Drama student to bring one new item to help fill the basket. It could be anything from a gift certificate, soaps, towels, slippers, wrapped candy; anything under the theme of Mother’s Day! We will be asking students to sell tickets on the basket. Of the money YOU raise, $15 will go towards your t-shirt. Any other money raised will go towards your $121 Drama fee. Ms Barrieau will be handling all monies brought in. Please have basket items donated by Thursday, April 14th , so we may begin making the basket. Tickets will be sent home this week. Spring Drama Week 4

All cast of Dress Rehearsal for Murder will practice Wednesday and Thursday afterschool from 3-4:15pm. Skits may also practice during this time, or wait for instruction from Ms Lynch. Remember that the $17 is due immediately to reserve our spot at the Festival. I have to send a cheque by Friday. The Drama Dance will be held this Friday and the proceeds go towards paying for our props and other expenses. Make sure you encourage everyone to come out! We will be creating and selling tickets on a Mother's Day Basket. We need everyone to bring in 1 item for the basket- soaps, gift certificates, beauty products, candles, slippers, towels- be creative. We will begin selling tickets shortly.
